The NBL Game Week 3 had a couple of interesting results and some players put on a show.

There were only 5 Women’s games compared to 10 for the men and just 7 teams were in action.

We take a look at some of the top performers in the game week.

Sharon Kirabo

Kirabo scored 15+ points in all the 3 games that the Rangers played in game week 3.

She was the only player Rangers player that scored double digits as they defeated UPDF 66-51.

Despite fouling out, she finished with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes.

She had 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block as the Rangers fell to the KCCA Leopards on Friday.

On Sunday 6th, she led the charges with a game-high 19 points and 13 rebounds as KIU defeated Nkumba 71-27.

Ines Kanyamuneza

The KIU Rangers Captain picked up after a stale start to the season for her in terms of production.

She finished with a game-high 19 points, 3 assists, and 4 steals as KIU defeated Nkumba.

She also dropped a game-high 15 points, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds as they lost to the KCCA Leopards.

Despite scoring just 3 field goals in that game, she scored 8/11 from the free throw line.

Her performance against the UPDF Lady Tomahawks was suspect as she had only 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 turnovers.

Martha Yikiru

Martha makes her second appearance on the team of the week.

Despite the loss to the Magic Stormers, she contributed tremendously with 14 points, 7/9 FG, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals.

Daphine Adong

Despite having an off night offensively, Daphine Adong worked on the defensive end to help her team get stops as Magic Stormers played Angels.

She finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals.

When the Magic Stormers faced Nabisunsa, she was in beast mode.

She had a game-high 24 points, 9-13 FG, 7 assists and 2 steals and a 33 +/-.

Daphine was only player with a +/- of more than 30 and the closest to her was Namugala Jesca with 23 points.

Jesca Namugala

Namugala was on fire for the Magic Stormers in game week 3 and she led them in scoring.

She dropped 23 points, 5/7 from the 3-point line as Magic Stormers cruised to victory against Nabisunsa.

She led the team in scoring with 12 points, 5 steals, 3 assists and 2 rebounds as the Stormers secured a 54-44 victory against Angels.
