The JT Lady Jaguars defeated the Nkumba Lady Marines 81-38 to maintain their winning streak.

This was one of the longest games as it spanned about 7 hours, having been halted by the heavy downpour.

The Lady Jaguars came into the game unbeaten in their 3 games while Nkumba has not yet picked up a victory this season.

After the first quarter, JT led the game 34-9 and this was a statement, they meant business.

They scored 14 of the attempted 23 field goals and they were cruising.

However, in the second quarter, they slowed down tremendously.

The Jaguars scored just 12 points and only 3 field goals.

Matter of fact, they scored just 1 field goal in the final 6 minutes of the quarter but as halftime approached, they led the game 46-16.

The game was then halted by rain for about 3-4 hours and by the time they returned for the second half, most of the players were cold.

Nkumba scored 22 points in the second half which wasn’t enough to help them.

At the end of the game, the JT Lady Jaguars emerged victorious, 81-38.
