Key Match Ups

Christian Ndibu vs Michael Makiadi

In the last 3 games, Ndibu has averaged 13 points, 15 rebounds,  1.3 assists, 1 steals and 1 steals. He has also been efficient in conversion with 17/32, 53% FG.

Most of his points have come from the paint and he will definitely be expected to operate in that area.

Makiadi has scored a couple of 3-point shots but his presence in the paint, offensively hasn’t been felt yet.

He is a player who can hurt the Rockets with his shooting and this will definitely bring another dimension of the game for the Namuwongo Blazers.

The 3-point shot

The Namuwongo Blazers have showed us how lethal they can be from the 3-point line more so at Abja Park.

In their game against Victoria Crocs, they scored a record 18  3-point shots and they added 15 against the KIU Titans.

They seem to have mastered their own court and can be explosive when given the space.

They also have numerous shooters like Innocent Ochera, Tonny Drileba, Peter Obleng who can all turn up from a distance on a given night.

Kampala Rockets have scored 31/130 in their 5 games so far.

Kevin Kasobya is yet to show up from distance for them but Brian Opio has been able to drain some triples for them in the last 2 games.

The Rockets have to utilize all avenues to stop the Blazers from getting hot outside the perimeter.

This is going to be a key battleground in this game and it might decide the winner.

This game has a lot at stake.

Can Kampala Rockets make it 4 wins in a row?

Will Namuwongo Blazers maintain their streak of 90+ points at Abja?

Who wins? We shall be finding out before the end of the day.

The game tips off at 9:00 pm at Abja Park.

Before this game, Angels will be up against the UCU Lady Canons.
