The JKL Lady Dolphins became the third women’s team to score 100+ points after they defeated the UPDF Lady Tomahawks 102-63.

After their defeat in the season opener, the Lady Dolphins have been taking care of business and this was just like any other game for them.

The Lady Tomahawks came into the game after scoring 90 past Nabisunsa and hoped to upset the defending Champions.

In the opening 5 minutes, it was an end-to-end action.

Christine Namyalo scored 10 points in that time, but UPDF still found itself trailing.

Additionally, they missed 10 of 13 free throws and JKL used this to create the separation they needed early on.

JKL led the game 27-16 after the first quarter and they maintained the same energy in the second, taking a 54-29 lead into the halftime break.

The Lady Dolphins were very efficient from the field in the first half with 22/37, 59% FG.

To start the third quarter, JKL made a 9-0 to make it a 34-point game and  at this point, the game was over as a contest.

In the final minutes of the game, UPDF tried very much to prevent JKL from reaching the century mark but it was all in vain.
