The JT Jaguars defeated the KIU Titans 80-37, making it 4 losses in a row for them and adding to their misery.
Since the Titans moved away from contracting players, they have been struggling and it is not a surprise to anyone.
Prior to this game, they had lost their opening 3 games but having scored 70 points against Namuwongo, maybe they thought they had a chance against the Jaguars.
The JT Jaguars came into this game after their defeat to the Victoria Crocs and returning to winning ways was their sole objective.
The Jaguars led the game 18-10 after the first quarter but it was in the second were they further widened the gap.
They scored 18-9 and took a 17-point lead into the halftime break.
KIU scored 9 points in the first 2 minutes of the third quarter and there were glimmers of a comeback.
However, that’s the last they scored in that quarter.
The Jaguars upped their defense, forcing KIU into 6 turnovers while scoring in quick transition.
They scored 28 unanswered points for the rest of the quarter and took a 38-point in the fourth quarter.
