The KCCA Leopards managed to register a huge victory, 84-49, against Nabisunsa on Easter Monday, the 21st, at YMCA.

Following their 1-point victory to end the JT Lady Jaguars’ unbeaten run, the KCCA Leopards knew they had to build on that, and they took care of business.

They led the game 19-13 after the first quarter.

Mpoza Abigail took over for Nabisunsa in the second quarter as she scored 10 points in the quarter.

However, she was the only one trying to get a basket and Nabisunsa scored 12 points compared to KCCA’s 18.

As a result, the Leopards led the game 37-25 at halftime.

KCCA took the game to a whole new level in the third quarter.

They started the quarter with a 12-0 run and made another 15-0 run to extend their lead to 37.

The Leopards scored 10 points from turnovers and 9 second-chance points in this quarter.

Additionally, they out-rebounded Nabisunsa 23 to 7, and this was very key in the blowout of the scores.

Tracy Namugosa was still hungry for more and she scored 12 of the Leopards’ 16 points in the fourth quarter.

Martha Bagaya and Martha Yikiru also got some baskets for Nabisunsa in the fourth.

The KCCA Leopards went on to win the game 84-49, their second 80+ score in a game this season.
