The JT jaguars are the second most in-form team in the Men’s NBL and they moved to second place after their 55-49 victory against the Rezlife Saints.

Following their huge, 83-70, victory against the KCCA Panthers, the JT Jaguars wanted a follow up victory but it was going to be very tough, given how resilient the Rezlife have been this season.

The Rezlife saints led the game 16-13 after the first quarter but the game was end to end, promising excitement.

Both teams were not very efficient from the field in the second quarter neither amassed a significant lead.

At halftime, the Saints led the 28-26, with Kevin Moru leading the scorers with 10 points.

The third quarter was the breaking point for the Rezlife Saints.

They scored just 6 points in the quarter and only 1 in the final 5 minutes of the quarter

The JT jaguars used this period to get a 5-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and this was enough for them.

In the first 5 minutes of the fourth quarter, Rezlife Saints scored 0 points while JT scored 3 to extend their lead to 8 points.

Leonardo Gilabi missed 4 free throws in that time and that cost them a lot.

Kevin Moru scored 4 3-point shots in 3 minutes and won the game for the JT jaguars.

He finished with 22 points and the JT jaguars won the game 55-49.
