The Rangers limited Angels to just 7 field goals scored in the second half a total of 16 points.
Ahead of this game, the Rangers had won their last 2 games and were on a quest to keep the winning streak alive.
On the other hand, Angels faced back-to-back defeats and needed a positive result to turn table in their favor.
In the first quarter, Ines Kanyamuneza enjoyed herself as she dropped 5 3-point shots to help the KIU Rangers lead the game 17-7.
In the second quarter, Angels took over after the Rangers’ offense dried up.
KIU scored just 7 points while Angels scored 14 to make it a 3-point game at halftime.
In the second half, Angels did not turn up as they were outscored 43-16.
KIU closed the third quarter with a 13-0 run to establish a 24-point lead and at this rate, it was going to be very hard to see them tossing this game.
Even in the fourth quarter, KIU kept the foot on the gas and in the end, they won the game 67-37.

The KIU Rangers now have a 4-2 record and are still on course for a top 4 finish after the first round.
They have a very tough game week 8 ahead of them as they face all the top 3 teams in the league.
On Wednesday, they face the JT Lady jaguars on Wednesday 7th at Lugogo, the JKL Lady Dolphins m Saturday at YMCA and the Magic Stormers on Sunday at the same venue.
Angels have a 2-7 record and will hoping to better it when they play their final match of the first round.
They will take on the KCCA Leopards next on Saturday 10that YMCA.
