The newly formed Victoria She Crocs started life in the FUBA Division One on a high as they registered back-to-back wins.

Though newly formed, the university team is full of experienced players who know their way around the league and will surely be contending for the championship.

In their first game of the season, the She Crocs defeated Legends 75-38 on Saturday 3rd at Hamz Stadium.

The She Crocs limited Legends to less than 10 points in 3 of the 4 quarters and managed to get an easy win.

2-time NBL Champion Thelma Toskin registered a double-double, 19 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Generous Grant finished with 14 points while Naluyima Bisoboka had 13.

The following day, the She Crocs were in action against the Makerere Sparks and the game went down to the wire.

The She Crocs managed to win the game 62-52 but one of their biggest strengths was the rebounding.

They out-rebounded Makerere 65-56 but in offensive rebounds, they had 49 while the Sparks registered 22.

Generous Grant tormented Makerere and she finished the game with 27 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.

Former Sparks’ players Viola Nakazibwe came up big with 18 rebounds and 6 points for Victoria.

Mercy Ageno registered a double-double, 11 points and 14 rebounds for Makerere while Faridah Nakyanzi added 12.

The Victoria She Crocs will have another doubleheader the following weekend.

They face the YMCA Lady Hamstars on Saturday 10th and Amazon Rhino on Sunday 11th, both games at Hamz Stadium.
