Sommet registered their fourth win of the season after edging the JT Jaguars 70-62 on Sunday 11th at YMCA.

The JT Jaguars led the game 18-17 after the first quarter with most of their baskets coming through transition.

Sommet tried to use the big men and they scored 10 of the 17 points.

In the second quarter, the game was blown open.

Richard Mutawulu turned into Stephen Curry as he made 4 of 5 3-point shots and 14 points to help Sommet outscore the Jaguars 25-14 to take a 10-point lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, Sommet led by as many as 18 points with under 5 minutes left but the Jaguars outscored them 10-1 to close the quarter and make it a 9-point game.

The Jaguars kept pushing in the final quarter and they cut the deficit to 4 points.

However, Andrew Sendawula and Mark Ngobi breathed life into Sommet after making back-to-back triples and those seemed to have given them a crucial cushion which paid off heavily.

Jaguars were fighting to come within touching distance but Sommet managed to hold them off and win the game 70-62.
