Makerere Sparks returned to winning ways after defeating the JT Junior Lady Jaguars 68-42 on Sunday 25th at Hamz Stadium.
The Sparks had a difficult game week 3, losing 58-42 and 32-45 to Pearl Queens and YMCA Lady Hamstars respectively.
They needed a response and they got it against the Junior Lady Jaguars.
Makerere limited JT to just 6 points in the first quarter while they scored 18.
Sparks scored 16 points in the first 4 minutes. This was their highest in such a span this season.
However, in the remainder of the quarter, their offense couldn’t convert and they scored just 2 points.
In the second quarter, Makerere once again scored 18 points and led the game 36-16 at halftime.
The JT Jaguars put up a much better fight in the second half as they improved their scoring from 16 to 26 in a half but Makerere was still the better side.
The Sparks went on to win the game 68-42, marking their third victory of the season.

Makerere Sparks have returned to winning ways after facing back-to-back defeat and now have a 3-3 record.
They take on Kibuli S.S next on Saturday 31st at KIU Kansanga and Kampala University on Sunday 1st at Hamz Stadium.
The JT Junior Jaguars have lost all their 7 games so far and are still on a hunt for their first.
They face the Amazon Rhino next on the 31st at UCU Kampala Campus and Seeta High on Sunday 1st at Hamz Stadium.
