The UPDF Tomahawks started the season with a 4-game winning streak but that changed on Sunday 25th after Entebbe Knight Riders handed them a 52-42 defeat.

The day before, Entebbe Knight had fallen to Power 46-49 but what was embarrassing was their 0 points scored in the first quarter.

However, they tried to fight back and even scored 21 points in the fourth quarter alone to make it a decent score line.

On the other hand, the UPDF Tomahawks had defeated the Nkumba Marines, 64-57.

The army side was confident that they would secure a positive result but their start to the game was horrible offensively.

The Tomahawks scored just 5 points in the first quarter and a total of 15 in thee first half.

Entebbe Knight Riders scored 26 points and led the game 26-15 at halftime.

Despite the game still being there for the taking, the Knight Riders managed to keep out UPDF and they secured a 52-42 victory.

Both teams were terrible from the field with UPDF having 15/66, 22% FG while the Knight Riders had 19/74, 25% FG.

Interestingly, the Tomahawks scored just 1 of their 27 attempts 3-point shots and this was perhaps one of the reasons they lost this game.
