Seeta High has been an interesting and exciting revelation as they have now won 3 consecutive games.

Their latest wins came on the weekend of 31st May and 1st June as they defeated Watoto and JT Junior Lady Jaguars, 69-36 and 70-30 respectively.

In the game before that, they shocked Kibuli S.S., defeating them 60-33 with dominant performances from Achomo Lucky (16 pts, 12 reb) and Nyabeal Kuach (15 pts, 13 reb).

In the 2024 season, Seeta High defeated JT Junior Lady Jaguars and recorded a famous victory against Our Savior Banyabo.

This was a foundation for what we are seeing right now and the fruits are now evident.

Seeta has built themselves on 3 players: Achomo Lucky, Nyabeal Kuach and Ayot Gift.

Achomo registered a huge double-double, 16 points, 20 rebounds,  1 assist and 1 steal against Watoto.

She also had a phenomenal performance, dropping 19 points and 6 rebounds against Watoto.

Kuach has registered 3 consecutive double-doubles.

15 points and 13 rebounds against Kibuli, 15 points and 19 rebounds against Watoto, and 10 points and 11 rebounds against JT Junior.

She has also been the best shot blocker in the league, with 18 blocks in the last 3 games.

Guard, Gift Ayot is game changer for them.

Her ability to control the game and score the basketball has helped lift the scoring burden off the big men.

She scored 18 against Watoto and 19 against JT and even when they shocked Our Savior in 2024, she dropped 23 points.

The question main question here is, Is Seeta High a legitimate threat?

Truth be told, no they aren’t.

They have made very many steps in the right direction but still have a long way to go in terms of being a top high school team.

The teams they have defeated haven’t been the top opposition but these wins have increased their confidence levels.

If Seeta High shocked a top side, it wouldn’t be surprising, given how they have been playing.

One thing for sure is that, if they keep on this path, they will become a top side and hopefully can compete at the National Schools Championship and also East Africa Schools games.

Seeta High plays Pearl Queens on Tuesday, 3rd June, and this is a very big test for them.
