The Victoria Crocs made it 4 wins in a row after completing the double against the Kampala Rockets with a 66-51 victory.
In the first round, the Rockets lost 48-51 and wanted the get revenge.
Given that they were on a 6-game winning streak, one would have thought that it was going to be an easy win for them but things were different.
Victoria outscored the Rockets 17-9 after the first quarter with most of their points coming in transition.
It was a though Kampala Rockets had no idea of stopping the transition but most importantly, they weren’t converting on offense.
They scored just 2 field goals in 13 attempts and missed 4 of 8 free throws.
Both teams took turns in the second quarter and by the end of the quarter, Victoria was up 29-22.
The problems that affected the Rockets hit again in the third quarter.
They could barely put the ball in the hole and Victoria kept punishing them in transition.
They outscored them 16-8 to take a 15-point lead into the fourth quarter.
The Crocs made an 8-0 run in the fourth quarter to take a 19-point lead and their was no way back for Kampala Rockets.
Victoria Crocs managed to hold on and win the game 66-51, sending themselves into the top 4.

The Victoria Crocs have now won 4 consecutive games and are in the top 4 with an 8-5 record.
The Kampala Rockets snapped their 6 game winner streak and now have an 8-5 record.
They will return to action on Friday 6th June in a battle with the KCCA Panthers at Lugogo.
