Nabisunsa completed the double over Angels after defeating them 60-57 on Wednesday 18th at YMCA.
The high school side defeated Angels 65-56 in the first round and were out for another payday against them.
In the first quarter, Nabisunsa led by as many as 8 points but Angels scored the final 2 field goals to make it 16-12.
In the second quarter, both teams were going at each other, and they both had their moments.
15 of the 17 points of Nabisunsa were 3-point plays.
3 3-point shots, 3 free throws by Amella Jesca and a foul and one for Mpoza Abigail who made the free throw.
At halftime, Nabisunsa led the game 33-29 and they looked as though they had a firm grip on the game.
The game slipped from Angels hands in the first 5 minutes of the third quarter.
They scored just 2 points in that time and Nabisunsa gained an 11-point lead which proved enough for them to see the game through.
Mpoza turned up huge for the Nabisunsa in the third quarter as she had 8 points, 2 steals and 2 rebounds.
With the fourth quarter left, Nabisunsa led the game 48-41, but their was lingering doubt about them seeing out the game.
However, Angels has yet to make a comeback this season and despite it being only a 7-point game, this was a mountain for them to climb.
Angels made a 7-0 run to make it a 2-point game but once again left a window for Nabisunsa who took the lead back up to 8.
Martha Likicho then scored 4 straight points in 40 seconds to make it a 4-point game but what happened after was characteristic of Angels.
They made 3 turnovers on consecutive possessions and that helped Nabisunsa a lot.
Caroline Nakato then hit a huge 3-point shot to make it a 1-point with 100 seconds to go but Nabisunsa managed to see the game out the game and win 60-57.

Technically, both Angels and Nabisunsa can still make the playoffs but they need to win almost all their remaining games.
Angels take on the KIU Rangers next on Saturday 28th at Abja Park.
Nabisunsa return to action on Wednesday 25th as they face the JKL Lady Dolphins at Abja Park.
