The JKL Dolphins shocked the JT Jaguars, handing them a 57-51 defeat at the YMCA on Saturday 21st.
The Dolphins have struggled a lot this season having registered only 4 wins in the first round.
During the first round when the 2 sides met, the Dolphins came so close but the Jaguars had the last laugh.
However, that was a sign for the Dolphins that they are not far away and this time around, they were able to complete the mission.
JKL made a 14-0 run to take a 12-point lea with less than 4 minutes left.
However, they scored nothing in the remainder of the quarter and Were Mark buried 2 triples to make it a 4-point game.
Once again, JKL increased their lead to 12 points in the second quarter with 4 minutes left.
Just like in the first quarter, they scored 0 in the remainder of the quarter and JT made a 9-0 run to cut it to 3 points at the halftime break.
The third quarter started off really bad offensively for both teams.
There was only total of 5 points scored in the first 5 minutes and all were by the Jaguars.
The final 2 minutes was also bad offensively, as only 2 points were scored, by the Jaguars.
This gave them a 2-point lead ahead of the fourth quarter.
JKL got off to a great start to start the fourth quarter. They scored 7 unanswered points to take a 5-point lead.
The Jaguars only had 2 spells were they scored, 2 in each spell.
However, their fourth quarter was marred with turnovers, and they had a spell where they made 3 turnovers on consecutive possessions.
They also scored 0 points in the final 2:30 and JKL closed the game with a 6-0 run.
