Rezlife Saints defeated the Victoria Crocs, 63-46, in what would be described as their most important win this season.
Ahead of this game, the Saints were a win behind the Crocs and given that only one of them will make it to playoffs, it was imperative that they win, lest their hopes be gone.
As expected, they came out strong and took the first quarter 17-11.
With under 5 minutes left in the second quarter, Rezlife led by 11 points but was ensued was unbelievable.
The Saints had just 4 attempts from the field, 4 rebounds and 4 turnovers in over minutes.
Victoria capitalized a lot, making a 14-1 run to take a 2-point lead into halftime.
Mayom David scored 3/3 from the 3-point line in that run.
The third quarter was a nightmare for the Victoria Crocs.
They scored just 4 points in the whole quarter and none in the final five minutes.
Rezlife seized the moment, outscored them 17-4 and took an 11-point lead into the fourth quarter.
Halfway through the fourth quarter, Rezlife led 14 and it was going to be tough for Victoria to comeback.
The Saints ended up with a 63-46 and they completed the double over a side they defeated in a 7-game series in the 2024 FUBA Division One Finals.
