After the first round, the Victoria Crocs had been one of the better sides, boasting with a 7-4 record.
At that point, there were no doubts that they would be in the playoffs if they kept on the same trajectory but that has since changed.
In the second round so far, they have lost 6 of 8 games and find themselves in a very tough position, regarding their chances of making the playoffs.
After their losses to Sommet and Rezlife, the Crocs cornered themselves and now have to make sure to get everything right in their final 3 games.
With that loss to the Rezlife Saints, they gave away the tie breaker to their main rivals for the final playoff spot.
This means that, in order for them to make the playoffs, they have to have a win more than the Saints but with only 3 games left and both teams with similar records, that seems unlikely.
However, for Victoria, they have to take care of business and it starts against the defending Champions, the City Oilers.
The Crocs face City Oilers, KIU Titans and Livingstone in their final 3 games.
If they lose just one of these, all Rezlife has to do is win 2 games and they will get ahead of them.
Rezlife faces the KCCA panthers, Livingstone and JKL Dolphins in their final 3 games.
If Victoria Crocs win this game, there is also a possibility of have 2 or 3 teams being tied and it could play out in their favor.
The Crocs know that if they lose, City Oilers will have qualified and they will have given Rezlife a much bigger advantage over them.
So with that, this game can make or break their playoff hopes and so it is a must win.
If Victoria Crocs fail to qualify for the playoffs, they will be the biggest disappointment in the second round.
The game tips off at 9pm at YMCA.
