Seeta High delivered one of the most shocking results this season after defeating the Victoria She Crocs 49-48.
In the first round, the She Crocs secured an easy 57-24 against the high school side and many thought it would be the same in the second round.
However, Seeta High had other ideas and they managed to pull off a shocker.
What was most surprising was the awful start to the game by the She Crocs.
In the first quarter, they scored just 4 points and 0 in the final 5 minutes of the quarter.
Seeta High scored 10 unanswered points and closed the quarter leading the game 16-4.
In the second quarter, there wasn’t a difference for both team as each scored 12 points.
Ayot Gift scored 2 huge 3-point shots for Seeta plus a layup to make it 8 points for her in the quarter.
By the halftime break, Seeta High led 28-16 and they had a huge task ahead of them. To defend and hold on to win the game.
To start the third quarter, Victoria cut the deficit down to 6 points but their run did not last long.
They then went scoreless for almost 5 minutes and in that time, Seeta made a 9-0 run to make it a 15-point game.
The third quarter ended 41-30 with Seeta in the lead and at this point, a victory for them looked very likely.
However, the odds were still in Victoria’s favor but they had to do a lot in order to overcome the high school side.
The She Crocs started strong in the fourth quarter, making 3 triples inside the first 4 minutes to tie the game 41 apiece.
With 1:48 left in the game, Victoria took their first since the first quarter and many thought they would see out the game.
Unfortunately for them, Seeta wasn’t done yet.
Wangen Jock Machar made a layup shortly after that turned out to be the game winner.
Generous Grant missed 2 free throws which could have won them the game but Seeta also missed 4 free throws in the last 1 minute
In the end, Seeta High managed to pull off one of the most surprising results after their 49-48 victory.

Victoria Crocs have lost their first game of the second round.
They are still on course to finishing in the top 4 and they will be taking on Kibuli S.S next on Saturday 9th August.
Seeta High is on course to making back-to-back playoffs and will be facing Amazon Rhino next on Saturday 9th.
