This has been the most anticipated game of the playoffs and finally, it will be going down.
After game one and two being postponed, the City Oilers and the JT Jaguars will be meeting ‘physically’ to sort themselves out at Lugogo.
The JT Jaguars boss, Dr. Jeff Teya queried the registration of the 2 new City Oilers players and this led to the delay of the games.
However, after the Juridical and Appeals Tribunal met, they ruled that the players will play.
The appeal by Dr. Jeff was seen as ‘fear’ by some people but he maintained that this was to make sure all teams are in check and followed the right procedures.
During the regular season, the JT Jaguars completed a sweep over the City Oilers.
They defeated them 74-64 and 65-50 in games one and two respectively.
With this, there is a lot of optimism that the Kira side has the arsenal to eliminate the 10-time champions.
When the 2 sides meet for game one, there is going to be a major difference in the squads from the last time they met.
The City Oilers are expected to have Kurt Curry and Chad Bowie make their debuts and these 2 are expected to carry past the Jaguars.
All the the eyes shall be on those players and there is a lot of expectations on them.
At the beginning of thr season, Dr. Jeff said that their aim was to make the semifinals.
They face a hurdle of the defending champions, Can they go past them?
Game one is on Tueday 9th at Lugogo Indoor Arena.
