In an unexpected turn of events, the Magic Stormers defeated the KCCA Leopards 52-49 at the Jaguars Den in Kira.
With this win, this meant the thr Stormers advanced to the semifinals for the very first time in their history.
On the flip side, the KCCA Leopards got eliminated in th3 quarter-finals for the 3rd season in a row.
KCCA won game one despite having trailed for more than 90% of the game.
In the end, they managed to win 67-65 and many thought they would close out the series in game 2.
That wasn’t the case.
Magic Stormers annihilated them in the second half of game 2, outscored them 53-23.
They started with the same momentum in game 3.
The Stormers led the game 18-10 after the first quarter but a big second quarter from KCCA changed things around.
In the first 5 minutes of the quarter, KCCA outscored Magic 15-6 to take a 1-point lead.
By the end of thr half, theh led the game 32-29 and had the momentum in their favor.
The game turned around again, this time in favor of the Stormers.
In the final 5 minutes of the third quarter, KCCA did not score while Magic Stormers had 10 points, giving them a 46-38 lead.
The fourth quarter was very low scoring with a total 17 points scored.
The Leopards were always chasing but couldn’t catch up and the Stormers ended up securing the win.

For the third season in a row, the KCCA Leopards have been eliminated in the quarter-finals.
The Magic Stormers have advanced to the semifinals for their first time.
They will take on the JT Lady Jaguars for a slot in the finals.
The women’s semifinals shall be starting on 7th October.
