With the quarter-finals of the 2025 NBL behind us, we take a look at some of the top performers and performances in the 18 games.

JKL Lady Tomahawks vs UPDF Lady Tomahawks

Hope Akello once again showed why she is the MVP of the last 2 seasons. She dominated in both games 1 and 2, delivering spectacular performances.

Hope had 18 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in game 2.

In game one, she has 7 points, 18 rebounds,  7 assists and 4 steals.

Christine Namyalo was unstoppable in game one. Despite the loss, she dropped 27 points (most in a game this playoffs), 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 6 steals.

UCU Lady Canons vs KIU Rangers

Shillah Lamunu delivered  spectacular performances on both ends of the floor in the 2 games.

She registered a double double in each of the 2 games and helped her team advance.

Lamunu averaged 11 points, 13.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 6 steals.

Martina Anyango also contributed significantly for the Lady Canons.

She registered a double double, 10 points and 10 rebounds in game two and had 13 points and 6 rebounds in game one.

Sharon Kirabo was a top performer for the Rangers in both games.

She registered a double double, 10 points, 11 rebounds,  2 steals and 3 blocks in game one and had 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in game 2.

JT Lady Jaguars vs Miracle Eaglets

Shakirah Nanvubya was on fire in game 2 as she went off for 26 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Mercy Batamuliza also had a phenomenal game 2 performance posting a huge double double.

She had 14 points, 17 rebounds and 6 steals.

In game one, she had 13 rebounds, 4 points, 2 assists and 8 steals.

Miracles top performer was Akello Winnifred who had 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in game 2.

KCCA Leopards vs Magic Stormers

To the surprise of many, the Magic Stormers eliminated the KCCA Leopards despite having lost game one.

Angella Auma was a reliable scorer for them and she scored double digit points in all the 3 games.

She had 23 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in game 2.

In game one, she had 15 points, 5 rebounds, assists and 4 steals.

Despite game 3 being low scoring, she came up with 11 points,  2 rebounds and 3 steals.

The other top performer was Joy Nekesa Mupalia.

In all 3 games, she picked 10+ rebounds and registered 2 double doubles.

In game one, she went off for 11 points, 11 rebounds,  2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.

Game 2, she had 18 points, 13 rebounds,  2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block.

Despite struggling offensively in game 3, she picked 12 rebounds plus 4 points and 3 steals.

Namuwongo Blazers vs Rezlife Saints

The Nam Blazers swept the Rezlife Saints but surprisingly the most consistent player was Saints’ Micheal Otieno.

He registered 15 points, 7 rebounds,  4 steals and 2 assists in game one.

In game 2, he had 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Anthony Chukwubuka had a wonderful game 2 with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.

Sommet vs KCCA Panthers

The most consistent player since the start of the second round, Frank Fataki Nyembo, once again showed up big.

He registered a double double in all the 2 games. 17 points, 15 rebounds,  3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in game one.

15 points,12 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in game 2.

Peter Cheng had the best output in a game during the quarter-finals. He had 20 points, 21 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in game one.

Caesar Kizito came up huge in both games for the Panthers with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists in game one and 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists in game 2.

City Oilers vs JT Jaguars

The Oilers advanced to the semifinals after defeating the Jaguars 2-0.

Mer Maker was a weapon for the Oilers and he had 13 points plus 8 rebounds in game one.

He added 14 points and 8 rebounds in game 2, 6 of them coming in the fourth quarter.

Ian Lubwama’s output for the Jaguars was very integral to their performance.

He had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists in game one and 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in game two.

In game two, Kurt Curry Wegscheider was lethal and he came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds.

UCU Canons vs Kampala Rockets

This is the only men’s game that went to game 3 but there were a lot of inconsistencies in the outputs by the players.

Joel Kayiira had the best performance and it came in game 2 where he had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

Jimmy Otim came up huge in game 3 with 18 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists.

Lwabaga Ibanda had 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists in game one and 10 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in game three.
