The much awaited Men’s NBL Finals clash between the Namuwongo Blazers and the City Oilers has been postponed.

This series was scheduled to tip-off on Tuesday 7th October but with this new development, we will have to await a little longer.

Namuwongo Blazers are set to compete at the Road to BAL (Division East Group D) which is slated for 17th to 19th October.

As thus, the Blazers are currently in preparation for this tournament and the finals will start thereafter.

Currently, the date for the start of the Men’s finals is 26th October.

However, at the moment, the women’s semi-finals and Finals are expected to continue.

Due the rain, the games 2 and 3 which were supposed to be on Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th were rescheduled to later dates.

The Finals for the ladies are expected to tip-off on 22nd but that could change basing on how fast the semi-finals end.

At the Road to BAL, the Namuwongo Blazers shall face Dynamo from Burundi and Dar City from Tanzania.

The other competitors are yet to be confirmed but word has it that other teams could join.

Namuwongo has also added 3 players to their roster, John Murry, John Obasa and another whom we are yet to know.
