The UPDF Tomahawks returned to the NBL after sweeping Ihoops 3-0 in the semi-finals.

Following their 49-42 and 73-52 wins in games one and two, the army side came ready to seal the deal in gane three.

It was a very low scoring first quarter and Ihoops led 9-7.

Neither team was clinical and the untidiness in possession was worrying.

There a total of 19 turnovers in the first quarter alone.

The second quarter also started off on a low.

Only 3 field goals were scored after the first 5 minutes but after that, UPDF took over.

Ihoops scored just 3 points in the entire second quarter while UPDF scored 9 in the final 5 minutes of the quarter to lead the game 21-12 at halftime.

For the whole second half, Ihoops was just chasing the game.

UPDF led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter but Ihoops cut it down to 5 points with less than 3 minutes left in the game.

In the final minutes of the game, Ihoops got opportunities but they never utilized them.

The UPDF Tomahawks managed to see out the game with a 43-35 victory.
