The Victoria She Crocs got promoted to the NBL in their first season after defeating the Makerere Sparks 3-1 in the semi-finals.

After games one and two, the series was tied 1-1 and game three was going to be key for both teams.

The She Crocs came out strong in game three on Saturday and managed to secure a 59-41 victory.

In the first quarter, they scored 21 points while limiting Makerere to just 6.

Despite the Sparks playing better in the proceeding quarters, they couldn’t dig themselves out of that hole.

Falidah Kadondi and Viola Nakazibwe  caused all sorts of problems for Makerere in paint they each registered a double-double.

Falidah had 19 points, 16 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 blocks.

Viola finished with 12 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals.

42 of the 59 points for Victoria were points in the paint.

In game four, the Makerere Sparkd had to win in order to extend their season.

They started the game on a high, leading 13-2 after the first 5 minutes.

However, the She Crocs closed the quarter well and it was 21-14, Makerere in the lead.

In the second and third quarters, the Victoria She Crocs had the edge and managed to take the lead, 40-38.

There were a lot of misses from both teams, but the She Crocs managed to get themselves back in the game.

To start the fourth quarter, Victoria made a 9-0 run and from there onwards, there was no comeback for Makerere.

As expected, the She Crocs saw out the game, winning 62-45, and advanced to the NBL.

Thelma Toskin finished with a game high 19 points while Bisoboka Naluyima had 13.

Viola Nakazibwe and Falidah Kadondi combined for 23 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 blocks.

Mercy Ageno registered a double-double, l8 points and 14 rebounds for Makerere.

Victoria She Crocs will face Pearl Queens in the finals.
