Pearl Queens saw off the Victoria She Crocs, 63-54, in game two of the Division One finals which was decided in overtime.
Coming into this game, Pearl Queens had destroyed Victoria, thumping them 55-36 in game one just the day before.
The She Crocs had a lot of things to correct in this game and they never wanted to go down 0-2.
It was a very competitive first quarter but Pearl Queens led the game 20-17.
They scored 3 3-point shots including 2 in the final minute.
In the second quarter, the She Crocs tightened their defense.
They limited Pearl Queens to just 9 points with only 2 scored in over 7 minutes.
Victoria also made a 10-0 run to take a 6-point lead but Lavin Auma scored the final basket of the half to make it 33-29 at the halftime break.
The She Crocs failed to get their offense going in the third quarter.
They scored just 8 points while Pearl Queens scored 12 and the game was tied at 41 heading into the final period.
With about a minute left in the game, Elsy Khaboshe scored a huge 3 to give Pearl Queens a 2-point lead.
Bisoboka Naluyima then tied the gane from the free throw line after sinking both shots.
Pearl Queens then made a turnover and the advantage was with the She Crocs.
More drama unfold led as they also turned over the possession.
Khaboshe was fouled and she made both free throws to give Pearl Queens the lead.
Once again, drama unfolded.
Generous Grant turned the ball over and Pearl Queens had the chance to see the game out.
They also turned the ball over and Generous Grant punished them. She scored on the final attempt to tie the game and send it to overtime.
Lavin Auma scored a triple and Elsy Khaboshe was fouled on the 3-point shot.
She made all the 3 free throws and Pearl Queens took a commanding 6-point lead.
Bisoboka tried to bring Victoria back in the game with 3 consecutive free throws but Lavin Auma and Phion Apio scored huge baskets before Sarah Nassuna finished them off with the final shot of the game.
Pearl Queens outscored the the She Crocs 14-5 in overtime to win the game 63-54.
