Pearl Queens took a 3-0 lead in the finals series after edging the Victoria She Crocs 54-47 in game 3.
This was expected to be a very competitive game as Pearl Queens led 2-0 and Victoria needed this victory.
In some ways, it was competitive but once again, the She Crocs did not have a solution for Lavin Auma and she destroyed them.
Pearl Queens led the game 15-13 after the first quarter.
Lavin scored 10 of the 15 points for the Queens and wad their go-to person for offense.
When she checked out, Pearl Queens scored just 4 points through half the second quarter.
In that time, the She Crocs did not capitalize as they only scored 5 points of their own.
When Lavin returned in the second quarter, Victoria scored just 2 points in close to 6 minutes.
Pearl Queens closed the half with a 12-0 run and at the halftime break, they led the game 31-20.
The third quarter was very low scoring as both teams kept missing.
Pearl Queens scored just 4 points while the She Crocs scored 9 and cut the deficit to 7 points heading into the final period.
Drama unfolded in clutch time of the game.
Pearl Queens led by 12 points with under 4 minutes to go but Victoria She Crocs made a 6-0 run in under a minute to cut the deficit to 6 points with about 6 minutes to go.
Pearl Queens turned the ball over after the timeout and Victoria had a chance to chip the deficit away.
They Viola Nakazibwe attempted a jumper but she missed and after that, Daniela Nyamwezi delivered the dagger.
She scored a huge 3 from the right wing and Pearl Queens saw out thr game to win 54-47.
