Pearl Queens won their first NBL Championship after completing a 4-0 sweep against the Victoria She Crocs.

Game 4 saw Pearl Queens completely dominate the She Crocs, and winning the game 77-41 with easy.

The first quarter was very low scoring, 9-8 with Victoria in the lead.

However in the second quarter, Pearl Queens showed their quality.

They outscored the She Crocs 22-12 to take a 9-point lead at thr halftime break.

Pearl Queens finished the game in the third quarter.

They limited the She Crocs to just 5 points while scoring 18 of their own.

The game looked so easy for the Pearl Queens and at no point did they feel threatened.

You’d have thought that they were done with their 22-point lead heading into the fourth quarter but no.

They came out even hotter in thr fourth quarter.

Pearl Queens made 4 3-point shots, 3 by Kabang. They also scored 29 points to cap off  a 77-41 victory.

Pearl Queens completed a 4-0 sweep in the finals to win the championship.

They are the first team since UPDF Lady Tomahawks in the 2023, to complete a sweep in the Division One Finals.

Pearl Queens also joins a list of teams that have won a championship in their first season.

Lavin Auma Owiti registered a double-double in all the finals games and she averaged 17 points, 19.8 rebounds, 4.75 blocks and 2.5 steals.

Throughout the series, Victoria scored a total 9 3-point shots while Pearl Queens scored 29.

This was a very big difference and it played a huge impact in who won the series.

Coach Angella Namirimu and Lynn Nalunkuma have won back-to-back Division One Championships

In 2024, the duo led Our Savior to the Championship after edging the Nkumba Lady Marines 4-3.

This time around, they led Pearl Queens to a championship after winning 4-0.

Phiona Apio, Sarah Nassuna and Vivian Faith Onyami also won back-to-back Division One Championships.
