The KIU Rangers made it two wins in a row after they defeated Angels 55:41 on Wednesday 11th at Lugogo.

Sharon Kirabo was the by far the best player on the floor and Angels could not slow her down. In the first game against Nabisunsa, she dropped 22 points and 14 rebounds and she better that performance.

Kirabo went off for 18 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals against Angels and gave them headache all game long.

Coming into this game, the KIU Rangers had registered a narrow victory against Nabisunsa and this game was an opportunity to put up high scores and inspire confidence into the players.

For Angels, they had lost their opening game against UCU and sought to get a positive result. However, the result was not in their favour although there were positives to take home.

In the first quarter, Angels scored just 2 points while the KIU Rangers had 19. In the second half, Angels looked a much better side and the game went into halftime 30:13.

Once again, the Rangers took over in the third quarter winning it 16-4 and leading the game 46-17. At this point, the game was over as a contest.

However, Angels still showed they had the fight in them. They applied the press and managed to force multiple turnovers. In the fourth quarter, they scored a whopping 24 points, which was more than what they had scored in the first 3 quarters combined.

They made a 15-0 run and limited the Rangers to 1 point in the first 7 minutes of the fourth quarter. In the end, they cut the deficit to 15 and the game ended 55:41.
