Nabisunsa was on fire in their third game of the season as they destroyed the Miracle Eaglets in a 97-69 victory at Lugogo.

The high school side came out with force in the fourth quarter and they managed to score a whopping 38 points in the final period, the most by any team this season.

Coming into this game, Nabisunsa had lost their first 2 games of the season. In their season opener, they went toe-to-toe with the KIU Rangers but the 2024 finalists came out on top in the final minute.

In the second game, which was the day before, Nabisunsa fought but the Magic Stormers were too strong in the second half.

With this, the high school side needed a victory in this game in order to turn their season around and they gave their all.

Miracle took the first quarter 18-15. In the second, the game opened up a lot and Nabisunsa started getting easy baskets at the rim. They managed to score 20 points in the quarter to lead the game 35-34 at the halftime break.

Nabisunsa got more space in the third quarter. Miracle tried to mark Mpoza Abigail full court but Nabisunsa found a way to get her open and she feasted. Abigail scored 10 points in the quarter and managed to get 2 assists.

Additionally, trying to mark Mpoza opened some space for Joy Auma and she punished the Eaglets. She made some key drives to the basket and it was hard to stop her.

By the end of the quarter, Nabisunsa led the game 59-51 and they had all the momentum. Their biggest problem was the fouls because 9 of the last 11 points for Miracle had come from the free throw line.

In the fourth quarter, it was a shooting clinic. Nabisunsa scored 8 3-point shots in the quarter from their 14 attempts. They made 8 of their first 10 and most importantly, they scored 5 of 11 2-point shot attempts.

This efficiency more so from the 3-point line was very high and Miracle was always chasing the game.

With their 38 points in the fourth quarter, Nabisunsa won the game 97-69.
