The JKL Lady Dolphins destroyed the Magic Stormers in a dominant 86-49 victory on Wednesday 18th at YMCA.

There were very many doubts about the defending champions coming into this season and following their defeat to the KCCA Leopards in the game, the doubts became amplified.

However, the JKL Lady Dolphins silenced the doubters after comfortably defeating the JT Lady Jaguars. They followed that up with a massive 37-point win against the Magic Stormers.

From the first quarter, JKL exerted their dominance on the Stormers. They scored 22 points while limiting the Stormers to just 9 points.

In the second quarter, the Lady Dolphins increased their lead to 23 points. Their offense was free flowing and Magic Stormers could not stop them. The latter registered 9 points in the second quarter alone and this was not helping.

JKL was still hungry and they came out in full force in the fourth quarter. They outscored the Stormers 21-7 to end the game 86-49.

Tamasha Nsubuga led the scoring with 21 points, Brenda Ekone 19, Shadia Nassanga 15 while Melissa Taliba registered a 13 points and 11 rebounds double-double.

Daphine Adong scored 14 points while Dpahine Adong and Joy Neksa Mupalia each had 8 for the Magic Stormers.

JKL Lady Dolphins has a 2-1 record and will face the KIU Rangers next on Wednesday 25th at YMCA.

The Magic Stormers now have a 1-3 record. They will take on the Miracle Eaglets next on 25th at Rezlife Park in Lubowa.
