14th March, 2026 will go down as one of the most historic days in the 2026 NBL. This is because of the 5 games that were played, we saw 3 players scored 30+ games.

In NBL history, it impossible to remember when 3 different players scored 30+ points in 3 different games at the same venue on the same day.

All the 3 players are some of the big hitters in the league and it wasn’t very surprising that they had hit such numbers. However, for all of them to drop 30+ on the same day, that was a surprise.

Brenda Ekone

In the opening game of the day, the JKL Lady Dolphins ran riot and thumped Angels 88-32. By the halftime break, the game was over as a contest as JKL led 56-15.

Brenda Ekon scored 32 points and became the player with the most points scored in a game this season. At the halftime break, she had 20 points and was on course for 40+ points. However, she missed the first 5 minutes of the third quarter and scored just 3 points in that quarter. In the fourth, she managed to score 9, with the last 3 coming in the final minute of the game.

With her 32 points, Brenda Ekone joined the 100-point club and is now third on the top scorers charts.

Tracy Namugosa

Tracy Namugos was the first player to score 30+ points in a game as the KCCA Leopards defeated Nabisunsa. Once again, she made history, as she became the first player to score 30+ points in multiple games this season. Namugosa scored 30 points as the KCCA Leopards defeated the UPDF Lady Tomahawks 66-44.

Tracy has scored scored 20+ points in all the games that the KCCA Leopards have won this season. she leads the scoring charts with 190 points, averaging 21.1 per game.

Mark Ngobi

Ngobi was on fire as the Victoria Crocs fell to the UCU Canons 62-70. He scored 33 points and became the first players (male) to score 30+ points in a game. Additionally, he became the player to score the most points in a game this season as she broke the record that was set by Brenda Ekone earlier that day. He leads the scoring charts with 136 points, averaging 17 points a game.
