Nkumba have lost 3 of their 4 games to start the season. For a team that is seen as potential contenders, they need to turn their season around. They take on Watoto next on Saturday 28th March.
It is also important to note that Nkumba did not have the services of their star player Ssengendo Mary Hazel who was in action for the Victoria She Crocs against the JKL Lady Dolphins in the NBL.
The JT Junior Lady Jaguars have a 1-1 record and will face St Cyprian Girls next on Sunday 29th March. One question lingers though, how many games will the double-license players feature in. if all, this makes the JT side a very dangerous team.
In the 2026 NBL season, Mary Nambogo is averaging double-digit scores. For Amy Chan, she won almost all end of season awards in 2023 when the YMCA Lady Hamstars reached the finals. The two, together with Hatanga can make the JT team lethal.
