Nabisunsa got revenge against Angels as they defeated them 58-50 to keep their survival hopes alive. This was one of the most important games for the high school side and they managed to take care of business.

Coming into this game, Nabisunsa had lost their last game against the Victoria She Crocs but had completed the double against the Pearl Queens in the game before that.

Additionally, Angels had defeated Nabisunsa 73-72 in the first round in a game that has major consequences in the relegation discussion. This was an opportunity for Nabisunsa to get revenge and keep their season alive.

However, the start to the game was very difficult. Angels made an 11-0 run to start the game and there was a glimmer of hope that they could perhaps win this game. Nabisunsa came back in the game but Angel still led the game 15-12 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the teams were even and the game was 24-21 at the halftime break.

Nabisunsa took over in the third quarter as they outscored Angels 8-18 to take a 7-point lead. They made a 15-0 run in the quarter and also made 5 triples.

To start the fourth quarter, Nabisunsa made a 17-1 run to extend their lead to 23 points with about 5 minutes to play. At this point, it was very difficult to see an Angels comeback but they scored 15 points in the final 5 minutes of the game. Nonetheless, Nabisunsa won the game 58-50.

Angels have closed the season with a 2-20 record having won a single game in the first and the second round.

Nabisunsa have a 4-15 record and still have a chance to survive relegation. However, they must win all their remaining 3 games and hope that the Miracle Eaglets lose all their remaining games.

Nabisunsa face the Miracle Eaglets next in a game that could decide their fate. If they win that game, they will have to hope for a win against both the JT Lady Jaguars and the JKL Lady Dolphins in the last 2 games.
