The 2026 FUBA Division One & Two playoffs will resume on Sunday 27th September with 8 games. These games will all be game threes of the respective series and the winners shall be advancing to the semifinals. There are 5 Division One games, 2 for the ladies and 3 for the men while the remaining 3 games are Division Two games.

Makerere Sparks vs St Cyprian Kyabakadde

The University side won game one 57-52 but Kyabakadde took game two 67-64. In game 2, Christine Nakasujja knocked down 6 threes and finished with 28 points. These two teams look evenly matched and game three will be a thriller. The winner of game three will face Seeta High, who eliminated Nkumba, in the semifinals. This game shall be the opener on court one and shall tip off at 10:00 am.

Ihoops vs YMCA Hamstars

The number one seed, Ihoops, lost game one 60-68 and this was a very big surprise. However, they managed to win game two, 70-67, to force a game three. The 2 teams will be looking to fight tooth and nail in game 3. In games one and two, very little separated the teams. The aim will be to iron out the mistakes from the first 2 games and leave everything on the court.

The winner in this game will face the KIU Titans who eliminated Miracle Eagles. This game shall tipoff at 12:00 on court one.

Watoto vs Entebbe Knight Riders

Game one of this series was very low scoring as it ended 49-41 in favor of the Knight Riders. The scoring was much higher in game two but Watoto managed to win it 63-62. This was a very tense game and it was close down to the final seconds.

Game three is expected to be even much more competitive as a lot is at stake. The Knight Riders have been knocking on the door (NBL promotion) for a number of seasons, they believe that this is their time. Watoto also has chance to make history and play in the NBL. For that to happen, both teams must advance to the semifinals so as to play in that determinant series. The game shall tip-off at 14:00 on court one.

Berkley vs Nkumba Marines

Berkley is one of the teams that joined the Division this year having won the Division two championship in 2025. They started the season on fire and looked like there were the favorites to get promoted to the NBL. As the season progressed, their form kept reducing and that is how they dropped to the number three seed.

The Nkumba Marines defeated Berkley 63-59 in game one that was decided in the final 60 seconds. Both teams gave it their all but it was the university side that turned out triumphant. In game two, Berkley managed to restore parity after a 72-61 victory.

In recent years, Nkumba has come very close to making an NBL return. This year, 2026, with no outright favorite, the Marines believe that they finally make the jump. On the other hand, Berkley has some investments in players and they look like they have what it takes.

Both teams are 4 wins away for NBL promotion. However, the most important win will be in game 3. Remember, the winner advances to the semifinals in a series that determines whether they make it to the NBL or not.

JT Junior Lady Jaguars vs MUBS Lady Jills

This series has been low scoring with game one ending 53-42 in favor of the Lady Jills while JT Junior won game two 45-41. The winner in game three shall face the number one seed, Kampala University. This game shall be played on court two at 16:00.

Governors vs Makindye Shooters

In game one, Governors won 75-65 but Makindye Shooters led by Mador Madiak responded with an 83-76 victory in game two. Game three will be played on court two at 10:00 am.

Metha Phenoms vs St Cyprian

St Cyprian is looking to make back-to-back league promotions. They won game one 47-57 but Metha Phenoms leveled the series in game 2 with a 72-61 victory. There is a lot on the line for both teams and they will be going all in for game 3. The game is set to tipoff at 12:00 pm on court two.

Ndejje Angels vs Kampala University

The Ndejje Angels, a side that was in the NBL not so long ago is seeking to earn promotion to Division two. Kampala University also wants to return to Division One. Only one of the two teams will have a chance to play for promotion.

Kampala University won game one 65-40 ad it seemed as though it might be a sweep. However, Ndejje took game two 55-51 and leveled the series. The teams shall now play in a decisive game three and both team are expected to bring their A-game. The match shall be played on court two at 14:00.
