The JKL Lady Dolphins made history once again as they defeated the KIU Rangers to win their 3rd NBL title.
The Lady Dolphins faced a setback after losing game 1 but soon leveled up in the next games and undoubtedly deserved the victory.

Game 5 turned out to be an easy one for the Lady Dolphins as they won 68:50 and gave opportunity to players who hadn’t featured a lot during the playoffs.
The return of veteran point guard Flavia Oketcho after missing out in game week 1 greatly improved the squad, mentally and also on the court.

The ability of all team players to contribute was also key in the finals. The bench players always made an impact when called upon by the coach.
Top players in the Finals
Ritah Imanishimwe 11.8 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1.8 APG

The JKL Lady Dolphins will be representing Uganda in the upcoming Zone V Championships in Rwanda. In this very tournament, the UCU Lady Canons were also expected to feature but unfortunately pulled out due to allegedly financial issues.
