Game week 13 saw a number of players register impressive figures but here’s the standout performers of the week.

Puati Ozias Kikomba led his team, Kampala Rockets to back to back wins for the first time this season.

He registered yet another double-double, 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block as the Rockets won in overtime against the KCCA Panthers.

Nam Blazers Chuol Nyuot became the first player to register 15+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ blocks after having 17 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks plus a game high 75% FG.

Against Livingstone, he had 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal.

Kasereka Tembo was unstoppable against Livingstone scoring 21 points, 7/14, 50% FG. He made 4 of 9 3-point shot attempts and added 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.

Joseph Chuma has become a silent assassin for the Namuwongo Blazers. Despite not starting either of their 2 games, he played the most minutes which goes to show you how much he’s needed by the Blazers.

He registered a double-double in both fixtures, 11 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 5 blocks against Livingstone.

Against Power, he had 11 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

Jonathan Oketch was arguably the best guard in the game week having a wholesome performance despite loss to JKL Dolphins.

He had a game high 22 points, a gameweek-high 5 3-point shots made, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal for the Ndejje Angels.

Hope Akello has made the team her home since game week 10, that is how hard she has been playing and at the moment, she’s by far the candidate for the 2024 MVP.

She registered yet another double-double, 11 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals as the JKL Lady Dolphins cruised past the Magic Stormers.

Her teammate Brenda Ekone was also scoring for fun, dropping 25 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals.

Sharon Kirabo put up a player of the week performance as the KIU Rangers extended their dominance over the JT Lady Jaguars. She scored her season high 27 points on 55% from the field and she added 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals.

Shakirah Nanvubya who has arguably been the UCU Lady Canons best player this season had her season-high 25 points adding 3 rebounds and 1 assist as the UCU Ladies defeated the UPDF Lady Tomahawks.

Kur Ajah was spectacular in the bout between the Magic Stormers and UPDF Lady Tomahawks.

She had a game high 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal and while the Stormers lost to the JKL Lady Dolphins, she scored 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.
