The KCCA Leopards managed to get revenge against the Miracle Ravens who were the girst team to hand them defeat in round one of the National Basketball League.
The Leopards wasted no time as they made a 17:5 run in the first 5 minutes of the game but they later released on the pressure and allowed Miracle to come back in the game and by the end of thr quarter, it was 21:12.
It was an end to end second quarter, with both teams making mini runs but the Ravens were always within range.
The third quarter was the biggest difference as Miracle Ravens offense couldn’t fire, scoring just 3 Field Goals and the Leopards took advantage stretching the lead to 18 as the final period reached.
The offensive struggles for Miracle even worsened in the fourth quarter, 9 points to their name and the KCCA Leopards took the game 72:50 in the end.
Rebecca Susan Aanyu had a good performance scoring a 10 points, 14 rebounds double-double.
Miracle Ravens who only had 9 players available continued to struggle offensively but there were a couple of positives for them.
The return the league’s leading shot blocker of Lilian Cherotich gives the Ravens some confidence as the playoffs approach.
