It was chaos and madness at the top of the top after a very tense game week 16 in the Ntare Lion League.

The biggest game of the day was between 3-time Champions Nshera FC and SC Ensayi who are looking to make their first trip to the Ntare Lions League Finale.

This game had a lot at stake as a win for either team would put them in a very strong position to make the trip to the finals and a defeat would put them in a precarious position.

In the first 2 minutes of the game, Nshera took the lead with an easy goal for the ‘poacher’.

Nazil made a long throw from the right hand side and the goal keeper, Nkurunungi Emmanuel mis-timed it leaving behind and empty net and Nshera’s Wanyama Elijah made no mistake from close range.

Midway through the first half, Nshera’s Alishe was awarded a red card after confronting the referee and his team was reduced to 9 men.

Despite the 1 man advantage, Ensayi did not capitalise and Nshera looked the more likely team to score in the remainder of the game.

Substitute Kayiwa Mubarak got the biggest chance of the game for Ensayi but his header hit the inside post and out it went, leaving Nshera 1-0 winners.

TY Omujuma got their first defeat of the season after a comeback from Kasasi.

Allan Dziz opened the scoring in the first half but Ahumuza Prosper got the equalizer before halftime.

In the second half, both teams created chances but Tugaineyo Powell scored the dagger from a rebound late in the game to hand Kasasi their 8th win of the season.

SC Kalele registered a 2:0 victory over Kachanchali to to leap to the second position.

After these results, Omujuma stay on top of the table with 35 points in 14 games.

SC Kalele move into second place with 34 points but have 15 games played.

Nshera FC are in 3rd place with 33 points from 15 games while SC Ensayi are in 4th place with 32 points but 14 games played.

Machando was not in action this weekend but they sit in 5th place with 15 games played and 30 points.
