The Namuwongo Blazers handed Victoria University a thorough beating, 99-63, to go 2-0 in the season.
The Blazers, who won their opener against City Oilers courtesy of a free throw with 1 second to go, came into this game seeking to play ‘better’ and to show who they are.
On the other hand, newcomers Victoria University sought to make it back-to-back win but it was always going to be a very difficult game against title favorites.
From the get-go, the Namuwongo Blazers were ahead and they led the game 24-15 after the first quarter.

The Blazers did not slow down in the second quarter and they kept the pressure on the gas pedal.
Innocent Ochera made back-to-back triples and finished with 8 points in the quarter.

The torture continued in the fourth quarter, and with the final 10 minutes left, Namuwongo was very much in control with a comfortable 24-point lead.
As if they weren’t done, in the fourth, they completely blew out Victoria.
