For a team that defeated the UCU Canons in both rounds of the regular season, you’d have expected better with their season on their line.
However, the Kampala Rockets didn’t show up offensively.
They scored just 38 points in a humiliating 38-64 loss in game 3.
The Kampala Rockets won game one, 50-49, at the Jaguars Den but game 2 was one to remember.
They were thoroughly dominate ld and thumped, 79-52, to force a game 3.
In game 3, at the same ground they won game 1, many thought this was going to be a contest.
This wasn’t the case as the Canons dominated from tipoff.
UCU led 21-10 after the first quarter and this set the tempo for them for the rest of the game.
By halftime, they led 34-18 and the Kampala Rockets didn’t show any signs of making a comeback.
The fourth quarter was another very poor outing for the Rockets as they scored just 6 points losing the game 64-38.

The UCU Canons have advanced to the semifinals where they will be facing the Namuwongo Blazers
The Canons were the first team to defeat the Namuwongo Blazers and this will be an exciting series.
