It is promising to be a fiery encounter as the KIU Titans take on the City Oilers in a high stakes game.

The two teams remain the only unbeaten sides (men) in the second round and this game  could have major consequences on who finishes as the number one seed after the regular season.

The City Oilers have lost just a single game this season against the Nam Blazers in round one and despite having had a bit of turmoil in the second round, they have won all their 7 second-round games.

The KIU Titans had a resolution to win all the second-round games and so far, everything is going according to plan as they have won all their 8 games.

If the City Oilers win this game, they will have secured the number one seed and in case they lose and KIU Titans wins all their remaining games, they will need City Oilers to lose another game in order for them to have a chance at being number one.

Who will step up?

During the game against Nam Blazers, Ben Komakech (15 points) and Mer Maker (22 points, 14 rebounds) came up huge as they scored a combined 37 points.

The coach made a tactical adjustment, starting with a lot of size and aggression and when they took the lead, they never relinquished it.

For the KIU Titans, the team has been playing very well particularly the combination Congolese internationals  Joel Lukoji and Kasereka Tembo.

Tembo scored 7 3-point shots in their previous game and he will be looking at having another high scoring game for himself.

The KIU Titans leave and die by the 3, and how well they can create open shots for their teammates will be crucial in this game.
