In overtime, both teams made multiple turnovers but the Uganda defense was very solid and in the end, Lydia Babirye finished the game off from the line.

The Uganda Ladies are still unbeaten in the tournament and have now won 2 stops. Benin won on Tuesday and will have to try again on Thursday.
Algeria took down Burkina Faso in their opening game and won a third straight game against Uganda in their second game of the day.
In what was a very tough physical battle and deciding game, they defeated Benin and went on to win the stop, making it back to back wins for them.
Uganda men defeated Burkina Faso in a very close game that ended 15:13. However, they lost their next game against Algeria but were able to make amends against South Africa with a 19:13 victory.
Algeria women won against Burkina Faso and South Africa but when it mattered the most against Uganda, they were unable to deliver the goods.
