The FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League Africa resumed with stop two on Tuesday 6th August and this time around, we had a fresh set of winners for both the Men and Women.
In the Ladies, Benin won all their 3 games with the final game being their easiest, a 14:1 victory against South Africa.
Given the absence of the Central African Republic, Uganda women played just 2 games against Algeria, and despite winning both, they averaged 15.5 points while Benin averaged 18 points and consequently won the Stop.

Algeria’s men also were perfect, winning 2/2, with the final win against Burkina Faso being the sweetest.
With the Central African Republic missing, Algeria defeated Uganda, 16:13 and topped Pool B.
They went on to play Burkina Faso, the winners of Stop 1, who were yet to lose a game and it was a winner takes it all situation.
Having lost to Burkina Faso 22:09 on day one, Algeria were up for revenge and they started the game strongly with a 5:0 run and the Burkinabes never caught up. Burkina Faso also got into foul trouble and Algeria scored 6 points from the Free throw line and won the game 21:10.

Team South Africa arrived and the ladies won 1 of 3 while the men lost their 2 games.
Uganda men finally registered a victory in overtime against Benin with Fayed Baale scoring a 2 that sealed off the win.
The games shall resume on Wednesday for stop 3 and on Thursday, there will be a break.
