Uganda ladies and Algeria Men shall be heading to the U23 World Cup after dominating the FIBA 3×3 Youth Nations League in Kampala.
The two teams each won 4 of the 6 stops and lost just 2 games throughout the tournament.
Even though they both did not manage to crown the tournament with a win in the final stop, both Uganda (women) and Algeria (men) shall be very proud of their performance and they will be heading to the U23 World Cup with a lot of optimism and belief that they can perform at the highest level.

The Ugandan ladies lost to their fierce rivals Benin 14:13 in the final while Algeria lost to Uganda, 16:18 in the final group game and that meant that they could not advance.
However, they made amends in the third-place playoff, winning 18:10 and finishing in a reasonable spot.

Throughout the tournament, Uganda (women) lost just 2 games, and they came against Benin, 14:13 in the final of stop 6 and 15:05 in the final of stop 2.
Algeria (men) lost 22:09 to Burkina Faso in their opening game and after that, their next loss came in stop 6, 18:16 against Uganda in the final pool game.
