The Black Pearls and the Avengers have continued to dominate the Nile Special 7s and they were perfect on day one.

The 2 teams have each won a circuit and they both continue to add to their Silverware.

The Black Pearls ran riot against the Ewes, winning 37:00 in their opening game.

In their second game, the Nile Rapids tried to put some resistance but the defending Champions found a way and took the game 24:14.

Lady Cranes stars Lydia Namabiro, Grace Auma and Emily Lekuru were all on the scoreboard for the Pearls.

Unity Namulala scored a beautiful try for the Nile Rapids and Tina Akello worked magic to find the second try for the Nile Rapids.

The Avengers had no mercy in their opening game as they thumped Panthers 51:0.

In what many thought would be a tough game against the hosts Thunderbirds, the Avengers wasted no time and they destroyed them completely with a 43:5 win.

The Kitgum Queens put up strong performances; pushing the Thunderbirds to the edge and losing 10:0 but they managed to secure a 26:10 win against the Panthers.

With their 2 wins each, the Black Pearls and Avengers shall be heading to the semifinals but with one more pool game for all the teams, the other 2 teams are yet to secure their slots.
