“It is 3 in 3 and you can attest that Heathens is the greatest Club in Uganda Rugby. The treble is one thing a club would want to do. Winning the Championship, Uganda Cup and crowning it up with the sevens is amazing for the club and very good for the young boys. It will increase their confidence and motivation” Wokorach told Clive Kyazze of CK Sports.

Youngster Malcolm Okello was the named the MVP of the tournament and he also shared some insights into their season.

“It has been a long journey for us, we didn’t start well in Entebbe but we had to sit back and reset”

He also talked about the youth in their team,

“We have a pool of players who are young and are willing to put their body on the line to play for Heathens”

“What has inspired me most is the spirit of the team. We scored easy tries and made many assists. We had a goal to achieve as a team and that helped us a lot. We also work with experienced players and you are supported here and there about what and what-not to do” he concluded.
