Makerere Sparks broke their 3-games losing streak after defeating Seeta High 64-41 on Sunday 3rd November at KIU in Kansanga.

The Sparks who had started the second round well had fallen off, winning just one of their last 5 games and they were thirsty for a victory.

Seeta High shocked Our Savior Banyabo not so long ago and went on to lose the next 3 games.

However, the confidence they got from that victory showed them that anything is possible and they were viewed as a threat.

Makerere led the game 17-7 after the first quarter and they extended their lead to 16 as halftime approached.

It is important to note that Makerere was on a foul fest in the first half.

They registered 14 fouls, and Seeta went to the free-throw line 24 times, though they scored just 9 of those.

However, in the second half, Makerere adjusted well defensively and they registered just 9 fouls and Seeta went to the free-throw line 12 times which was less than they did the second quarter alone (14).

Both teams had their moments in the second half but Makerere maintained a slight upper hand and saw out the game 64-41.
