UPDF Lady Tomahawks came into the game after a 52-69 defeat to the KIU Rangers and wanted to return to the winning column.

However, they trailed 19-11 after the first quarter.
The Lady Jaguars were working on the offensive rebounds, they had 6 in the quarter and scored 6 second chance points.
UPDF did not turn up offensively in the second quarter as they registered the same amount of turnovers as points (7).
Aziida Nabayunga was the main source of offense for JT as she scored 10 of the team’s 21 second-quarter points.
With a 22-point lead on their hands at halftime, the Lady Jaguars were on course to secure a victory.
UPDF changed tactics in the third quarter and became more aggressive on defense.
They applied pressure on the ball handlers and tried to contain them.
As a result, they limited JT to just 4 points in the first 6 minutes but they were not scoring much to slice through the deficit.
They scored just 10 points in that time, and when the Lady Jaguars got their moments in the final 4 minutes, they made sure to punish the army side.
The Jaguars scored 10 to 4 in the final 4 minutes but all the points that UPDF conceded could have been avoided.
Jaguars had 8 offensive rebounds in that short span alone and scored 6 second chance points plus 4 points from turnovers.
At this point, a comeback by UPDF was almost impossible as they trailed 56-23 heading into the fourth quarter.

The game ended 52-69, and this result meant that the Lady Jaguars maintained their winning streak.
