The JT Lady Jaguars thumped Angels 73-20 in what might be their easiest game in the first round.
In the Gen Z terms, “they ate and left no crumbs.”
The Lady Jaguars came into the game on the back of a 75-71 victory against the defending Champions and they were very confident that they would secure a result in this game.
On the other hand, Angels came into the game on the back of a 55-41 defeat to UPDF, and a game against the Jaguars was always going to be very difficult but they trusted their chances.
At the end of the first quarter, JT Lady Jaguars led the game 16-10 and they looked the better side.
In the second quarter, they slightly elevated and Angels couldn’t keep up with the pace.
Lady Jaguars scored 21 to Angels’ 11 in the second period and at the halftime break, they had a comfortable 16-point lead.
In the second half, Angels did not ‘show up’ at all.
They scored a total of 9 points to 36 for the Lady Jaguars and made it very easy for the Lady Jaguars to devour them.

The also scored less than 10 points in back-to-back quarter which is the second time it has happened this season. The first being by the Kampala Rockets against Rezlife Saints.
JT Lady Jaguars’ 66 rebounds is the most registered so far by a team in a game.
JT Lady Jaguars have a 2-0 record and will be looking to extend it when they take on A1 Challenge on Saturday 5th April.
Angels has not had the best of starts to the NBL campaign having registered back-to-back defeats.
They will be facing the Nkumba Lady Marines on Saturday 29th March at YMCA.
Both teams will be looking to get their first victories of the season.
